Friendzone: Myth or Reality? How did you end up in there?

We all know that one guy who has been running after the girl of his dreams, doing cute stuffs for her, getting done their university assignments and sometimes recharging their phone with 19 taka felxiloads. :P

Yes, you got it right. I'm talking about the guys who are friendzoned. So basically friendzone is the zone where guys/ girls develop strong feelings for their specific friend and can not tell them cause they're too scared to ruin their friendship with them. In that case scenario, they have got nothing else to do without hoping one day they will ask them to be their boyfriend/girlfriend. But unfortunately, This never happens and the friendzoned guys end up posting on their Facebook timelines song like, "Meye tumi ekhono amay bondhu bhabo ki?"

We have run a social experiment last week on friendzoned guys/girls to found out why and how are people getting friendzoned?

We did a survey with few questions like "What'd you say to a girl/guy you are interested in/you wanna flirt with?" vs. "How'd you introduce yourself to someone you want to be friends with?"

Most of the people answered to the first question saying that introducing themselves with a good manner and complementing them is a good gesture to let them know that they're interested in them. And then ask them out on a sweet romantic date night.

The answer to the second question was more like doing nothing special and treat them like they'd treat any other person.

This is where you guys are going wrong. If you do not let them know from the beginning that you like them, they wouldn't know. Of course watching 4 seasons of "Sherlock" is not enough to make you any smarter to read minds. And then after hanging around with them for a few weeks, you find yourself picking them up from their home to banani, Paying their restaurant bills and finally watching them uploading pictures with another guys with a caption saying "Follow me to bashor ghor" on instagram!
